fisk alloy conductors Capabilities

Since its founding in 1973, Fisk has been committed to manufacturing copper alloy wire, engineered to meet our customers manufacturing challenges, product performance requirements and marketplace needs.

Today three companies, Fisk Alloy Wire, Inc., Fisk Alloy Conductors, Inc. and  Electroplated Wire Corporation are focused on copper alloy development and processing technologies in electroplating, heat treating, shaped wire rolling, round wire drawing and wire stranding. Manufacturing operations reside in Hawthorne, NJ and Oriskany, NY comprising some 180,000 square feet (17,000 sq m2). Combined these companies provide one of the broadest ranges of specialty copper alloy wire products found in the world.

Fisk Alloy Conductors, Inc develops and engineers copper alloy wire into conductors to meet specific performance requirements.  Wire and cable made from cadmium free Percon, a family of RoHS compliant alloy conductors, can be found in a in computers, automotive, aerospace and transportation equipment, communications, industrial controls, appliances and many other electronic and electrical products where both mechanical and electrical properties are required.

Wire is engineered to performance requirements in single end, bobbins and stranded constructions whether bare or electroplated with nickel, silver or tin. All wire is manufactured to customer order and specification from single end AWG sizes ranging from 28 AWG (0.0126”, 0.320mm) to 54 AWG (0.00062”, 0.0157mm). Please see the product tables found on each of the alloy pages for specific capabilities for that alloy system. more information
